Discussion Group Experiment

In the interest of trying new ways to communicate ideas amoungst members a discussion script has been created. It is the webmasters hope that new ideas, club business and other discussion can occur to reach consensus or just talk with fellow memebers.

Each member of the Draught Board who sent me their user id and passwords for the members only area have been entered into the discussion database. Some of the discussion groups require authorization (private) and other can be posted by anyone (public).

If you dont have a user id and password, feel free to email me with that request. For those wishing to change your password or any other details like email of new messages, you can change these options via program script.

Some of the nice features of the message system is the ability to integrate graphics, clip art, color, pictures, links, email, tables and font characteristics into the message. It also has a well developed adminstration feature allowing members of the club to monitor and maintain the discussion area. How to effectively use these features is described in the formatting botton in the right frame and the Adminstration frame.

If the discussion script program experiment works out, it will be added to all tool bars for easy access. I may also alter the script to integrate them within the look and feel of our webpages. In the meanwhile, feel free to tour around and see how you like it.
