Stainless sheets can be purchased in dimensions of 36x120" and 48"x120". If you figure that the jacket is .5" radius larger than the 7" radius cylinder, you get 7.5" radius on the jacket. The circumference is 15"x Pi approx. = 48". This will reduce cost in less sheets and less welding of sheets together in order to make the circumference.
