The Draught Board Homebrew Club is proud to present the 1997 National Bay Area Brew-Off on February 1, 1997. First, second, and third place awards (great ribbons, cash, and prizes) will be given in eight style categories in this AHA recognized event. This year's event will be hosted in Pleasanton by :
The competition is hosted by The Draught Board Homebrew Club. Judging will take place at the HopYard Alehouse (3015 Hopyard Road, Suite H).
Categories for judging are:
Dry Stout
Bock
Porter
Pale Ale
India Pale Ale
Barleywine/Wheatwine
Holiday
Mead

Entries should be shipped or delivered to -

Entries must be received by January 18, 1997. Please do not send entries before January 6, 1997. Entries must consist of two 12 oz. unmarked bottles, $6.00 per entry (checks made out to The Draught Board), and a label attached to each bottle with a rubber band. The label should state the entrant's name, address, phone number, club affiliation, category, subcategory, and any special ingredients. One entry per person per category, please.
Entries will rest in proper storage at HopTown between delivery and judging.
Everyone is welcome to come to the HopYard and celebrate the competition.
