Russian River Watershed

Ecosystem, Steelhead, and Coho Salmon

Russian River

The CSPA filed a complaint with the SWRCB which opened up the public process towards the restoration and protection of the steelhead trout resources, coho salmon resources, and the ecosystem of the Russian River watershed. The SWRCB will not take any future actions on the CSPA public trust complaint because the SWRCB claims they do not have sufficient funding to fix the steelhead and coho salmon problems they caused on the watershed. Shown below are some of the CSPA activities with the SWRCB in recent years to restore the steelhead resources of the Russian River watershed.
