Cantara Trustee Council Minigrant Program

 

The Cantara Trustee Council has commenced approving minigrant applications. The minigrant program was developed for small projects such as restoration work, river cleanup work, surveys. education, etc.

Call the Cantara Program staff and request a copy of the minigrant program procedures. This is a wonderful opportunity for fly fishing clubs and individuals to get involved in activities that helps the Upper Sacramento River and other streams in that area. Call Bruce Deuel, Cantara Program, at 916-225-2143 and request a copy of the minigrant program procedures. Ask for a minigrant application form.

The following minigrant applications were tentatively approved:

Subject: Feeding Ecology of Spotted Bass in the Upper Sacramento River

Applicant: Thomas R. Payne and Associates

Amount: $2,995
