Mr. Robert Kock, Regional Manager May 24, 1999
Region 1
Department of Fish and Game

Dear Mr. Kock:
Because of recent litigation and case law, the Department
of Fish and
Game is now required to prepared CEQA documents for all Streambed
Alteration Agreements. Mr. Jim Steele of the Department of Fish
and Game
has advised me that the CEQA documents for the Streambed Alteration
Agreements will be prepared individually by the regional offices
and not
collectively by the main office.
Please advise your staff to place the California Sportfishing
Protection Alliance on your mailing list and please forward copies
of
all CEQA documents and all related Streambed Alteration Agreements
to me
at the address listed below for our review and comment.
If there are any questions, I can be reached at my
office at
530-836-1115.
Respectfully Submitted
SIGNED BY BOB BAIOCCHI
